About this bookplate:
   
This bookplate was created
as a gift to Rabbi Brown, for
his private book collection.

The purpose of this
bookplate is to document
ownership, origin, and date
of acquisition.

The English initial “B”, for
Brown, was chosen as the
main design element.  

On the bottom of the
bookplate, the ribbon
transforms into flat blue
stripes, reminiscent of the
blue stripes on the edge of a
Talit.

Three strands on the top
right side of the bookplate
are another hint of a Talit.
